Kenya's health ministry and WHO brought together 32 government, research and community representatives to set priorities on health, migration and displacement, according to an October 15 update.
Discussions addressed evidence gaps, continuity of care and the needs of refugees and host communities. Participants considered noncommunicable diseases and the involvement of affected populations.
The findings will inform a national agenda and implementation roadmap, connecting research with health planning for people on the move.
