Work ran from January 2024 to September 2026 and cost almost €2 million, including €1.54 million from the European Investment Bank. The school can serve up to 600 pupils.

Renovations covered the roof, insulation, classrooms, heating, ventilation and electricity, with accessibility and safety upgrades. The school also serves displaced families and pupils with special educational needs.
