Ethiopia will host the seventh Emergency Medical Teams Global Meeting in Addis Ababa on November 3–5, becoming the first African country to welcome the gathering, WHO announced.
Government representatives, emergency specialists, researchers and humanitarian partners will review lessons from disasters, outbreaks and conflicts.
Taking place midway through the EMT 2030 strategy, the meeting includes technical sessions and an innovation exhibition. It aims to strengthen countries' capacity to deliver timely emergency medical care.
