Qatari foreign ministry spokesperson Majed Al-Ansari urged stronger international cooperation on mediation, conflict prevention and reconstruction at Doha’s Global Security Forum, QNA reported on 20 October.
He stressed trust in mediators and shielding negotiations from media pressure. He also said lasting peace in Gaza requires a political horizon and Palestinian statehood, presenting signed agreements as the start of work on conflicts’ underlying causes.
