Amnesty International urged action to protect Palestinians from settler attacks during the olive harvest, QNA reported on 20 October 2026.
The organisation called for targeted sanctions against Israeli officials credibly implicated in serious violations. It cited crop destruction, restricted access to farmland and attacks east of Ramallah involving a journalist and European diplomats. The report describes an advocacy demand, not the adoption of new sanctions.
