Brookfield opens Doha office focused on credit

Brookfield announced a Doha office on October 25, focusing on credit investing, including Oaktree, according to its statement carried by QNA. The company presented the opening as an expansion of its Gulf presence and existing partnerships.

The announced AI infrastructure partnership with Qai and Brookfield’s assets under management in the Gulf are separate measures. Although the statement gives a figure of about $20 billion for each, they should not be combined or described as a fresh investment committed through the new office.
