The European Union has scheduled its second summit with the United Kingdom for November 20, 2026, in Brussels, the European Council announced on October 12.
European Council President António Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen are due to welcome British Prime Minister Andy Burnham. The announcement confirms the meeting's date and location. Negotiating outcomes and any prospective agreements remain matters for the forthcoming summit; the scheduling announcement does not itself constitute a new trade deal.
