French authorities reported 19 injuries after a minibus collided with a vehicle-carrying train near the Channel Tunnel entrance, QNA reported on 16 October 2026.
Two people suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while the others had minor injuries. Vehicle shuttle services were suspended for about 90 minutes before gradually resuming. Eurostar passenger trains and freight services were not affected, according to the report, so the disruption did not amount to a complete tunnel shutdown.
