Flag handover turns attention to Doha’s Asian Para Games

Doha received the Asian Para Games flag at the close of Aichi–Nagoya on October 24 ahead of hosting in 2030, QNA reported. The handover followed receipt of the Asian Games flag earlier in the month.

This marks the transfer of hosting responsibility, rather than the start of the next competition. Organisers emphasised a supportive environment for athletes; operational and accessibility arrangements will provide practical measures of that ambition later. The Asian Games and Asian Para Games should remain clearly distinguished even though the same city will host both.
