Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty met French envoy André Parant to discuss developments in the Palestinian territories, QNA reported on 19 October 2026.
The sides agreed to continue coordination in support of Palestinian statehood along the 1967 lines with East Jerusalem as its capital. Abdelatty emphasised support for Palestinian Authority institutions, opposition to settlement expansion and annexation, and continued work on the Gaza peace plan.
