Finland and Singapore outlined a shared approach to foreign policy and AI cooperation on October 13, after foreign ministers Elina Valtonen and Vivian Balakrishnan met in Singapore.
Their statement focuses on international governance, model safety, transparency and common standards. Both sides intend to deepen cooperation in quantum technologies, digital infrastructure and research, while supporting responsible technology use. The announcement provides an institutional and diplomatic framework for further collaboration without specifying a new funding programme.
