The Dakar 2026 flame is touring Senegal's 14 regions ahead of the Youth Olympic Games opening ceremony on 31 October, according to an International Olympic Committee publication dated 8 October.
The tour promotes sport, learning and encounters between young people. The IOC account highlighted crowds welcoming the flame and the role of event ambassador Omar Sy in explaining the significance of Senegal's hosting.
