The Hague prepares to host UNESCO forum against racism
The fifth global forum is scheduled for 29–30 October, bringing together officials, researchers and civil society.

UNESCO has announced details of its fifth Global Forum against Racism and Discrimination, scheduled for The Hague on 29 and 30 October 2026 in cooperation with the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The announcement, published on 13 October and updated on 15 October, describes a gathering of ministers, mayors, researchers, youth representatives, civil society and media. Its aim is to encourage practical action against discrimination.
The King of the Netherlands is expected to attend the opening session and the first two panel discussions on the first day. The event is still forthcoming at the time of writing, so the attendance and activities described here are part of the announced programme rather than completed participation.
