Iraqi parliament speaker Haibat Al Halbousi met Yemeni Foreign Minister Afrah Al Zouba in Baghdad on October 18 to discuss bilateral ties and parliamentary coordination, Yemen’s foreign ministry said.
Al Zouba presented her government’s account of the conflict and needs for political and humanitarian support. The statement said Al Halbousi reaffirmed support for Yemen’s sovereignty and unity during the meeting alongside OIC talks.
