Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Falih Al-Zaidi met UK National Security Adviser Jonathan Powell in Baghdad on 18 October 2026 to discuss regional developments, according to QNA.
The two sides stressed coordination to address sources of tension and support stability. Their talks also covered bilateral cooperation against the backdrop of regional security and political developments. Powell was visiting Iraq; the account did not announce new operational arrangements.
