Knesset turnout reaches 77.7%, with Arab participation at 80%, committee says

Overall turnout in Tuesday’s Knesset election reached 77.7%, while participation among Arab voters reached 80%, according to an election committee statement reported by Anadolu on 28 October. The committee described overall turnout as the highest since 1999.

The percentages measure participation in different electorates: all eligible voters and Arab voters respectively. Arab turnout is not the Arab share of national votes or parliamentary seats, nor does it show each voter’s choice. Representation depends on counted votes and party results, separately from the turnout measure.
