Israeli forces entered parts of rural Quneitra on 18 October 2026, established a checkpoint in Al-Ajraf and detained two young men at a checkpoint in Al-Hurriya, QNA reported, citing local sources.
Those accounts also described military vehicles, gunfire near farmland and shelling around Tal Ahmar. The report concerns continuing tensions in southern Syria. The movements and detentions described here remain attributed to the sources cited by the agency.
