Jordan announces arrests in Karak church attack after armed confrontation

Jordanian authorities announced the arrest of three people accused of carrying out the Karak church attack, Qatar News Agency reported on 26 October, citing Public Security. Officials said the suspects fired at officers from an abandoned house before being detained.

Government spokesperson Mohammad Momani said no officers were injured. Authorities had reported six deaths in Friday’s attack during a funeral.
