Jordan held funerals on October 25 for eight victims of the attack on a church in Hamoud village, Karak, Euronews reported. The Friday attack killed nine people, with the ninth victim’s burial scheduled separately for Monday in Sahab.

The difference between the number buried at the ceremony and the death toll reflects funeral arrangements, not a reduced casualty count. According to the report, the search for those responsible continued and their connection to a known armed organisation had not been established. This account therefore attributes responsibility to no specific group without documented investigative findings.
