Pakistani Defence Minister Khawaja Asif pledged support for Saudi Arabia against attacks in a Geo News interview reported by Anadolu on 27 October. He linked the position to the mutual-defence pact joining Pakistan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

He also highlighted Saudi and Turkish officials’ presence in Iran and expressed hope for diplomatic progress. Defence commitments and de-escalation efforts are being presented together; the interview does not establish a troop deployment or Pakistani operation. His assessment of diplomatic progress remains an attributed view, not an announced agreement.
