Palestinian Women’s Day highlights participation and preservation of historical records

Women’s Affairs Minister Mona al-Khalili called for wider participation by women in leadership and decision-making at Palestinian Women’s Day events in Ramallah, WAFA reported on 26 October 2026.

National Library head Marwan Awartani said a women’s archive was nearing launch and urged its integration into the library’s system for collection, digitisation and access. That connects preservation of women’s contributions with researchers’ access to records. The archive remained a project in preparation; the report did not announce a public opening.
