Palestinian prisoner groups said more than 90 Palestinian women were held in Israeli prisons and warned of scabies, inadequate treatment and missing hygiene supplies, WAFA reported on 26 October 2026.
Their statement distinguishes current detainees from more than 810 recorded arrests since October 2023: cumulative arrests are not the current prison population. The groups also said information about women detained from Gaza remained incomplete. Conditions and abuse allegations are attributed to the organisations; the report included no response from prison authorities.
