Russian President Vladimir Putin said on October 16 that Russia would respond to Ukrainian attacks on refineries, energy facilities and logistics infrastructure, Qatar News Agency reported.
Speaking at a Delovaya Rossiya forum, Putin said attempted strikes had continued the previous day and described the damage as limited. Those assessments are attributed to the Russian president. The report did not independently establish the scale of losses or provide details of a specific military response.
