WAFA reports 12 arrests in Qalqilya and movement restrictions nearby

Local sources told WAFA that Israeli forces arrested 12 Palestinians during Qalqilya raids early on 28 October. They said forces left the city after about two hours, while identity checks and house searches were reported in nearby Hajja.

Reported effects extended to housing and travel: an evacuated Hajja home was used as a military position, and Nabi Elias’s entrance remained closed. Withdrawal from Qalqilya city therefore did not mean restrictions throughout the governorate had ended. The account is attributed to local sources and contains no Israeli explanation of the arrests.
