Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev discussed bilateral cooperation on October 15, during a meeting on the sidelines of the seventh CICA summit in Baku.
Qatar News Agency said talks covered friendship, opportunities to strengthen relations and shared regional and international concerns. Officials from both delegations attended, including Qatar's prime minister and foreign minister. The published account did not announce a financial agreement or new treaty resulting from the meeting.
