Coalition reports drone interceptions in southern Saudi Arabia and missiles toward east

The coalition supporting Yemen’s government said it intercepted four Houthi drones heading toward southern Saudi Arabia, Qatar News Agency reported on 27 October, citing a statement carried by SPA.

The account also referred to an earlier announcement that three ballistic missiles heading toward the Eastern Province were intercepted. The drone and missile tracks concern different areas, rather than one attack on the same location. The claims are attributed to coalition spokesperson Turki al-Maliki; the report provided no independent interception evidence or ground-damage tally.
