QNA cited field sources on 21 October reporting Israeli artillery fire, explosions and tank movements in southern Lebanon. Areas named included the outskirts of Baraachit, Beit Yahoun, Mefdoun and Wadi al-Salouqi.
The report also mentioned flares over Wadi Zebqine and movements between Haddatha and Beit Yahoun, without providing a casualty total. It said implementation of the security arrangements in the June framework agreement continued to face obstacles.
