Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune reaffirmed the state's commitment to protecting citizens abroad and their interests in an October 16 message ahead of National Migration Day, APS reported.
He addressed travel facilitation for diaspora families and their continuing links with Algeria. The message marked the 65th anniversary of the October 17, 1961 demonstrations in Paris and remembered participants' sacrifices. The report outlined presidential commitments to the diaspora and national memory without announcing new administrative measures with implementation dates.
