UAE and Benin discuss energy, agriculture and food security

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed met Benin’s President Romuald Wadagni in Abu Dhabi on October 25, QNA reported. They reviewed cooperation in the economy, renewable energy, agriculture, infrastructure and food security in support of their development priorities.

The sector list connects food production with energy and infrastructure needed for economic activity. However, the announcement identifies neither named projects nor approved financing. It describes an agenda under discussion and should not be recast as investments already delivered or a measured increase in production.
