Palestinian–UNRWA talks in Cairo address services and facility protection

Palestinian acting ambassador in Cairo Naji al-Naji discussed humanitarian coordination with UNRWA representative Sahar al-Jobouri, WAFA reported on 26 October 2026.

The agenda covered food, health and education pressures, aid delivery obstacles and protection of agency facilities. It highlights that relief depends on reaching beneficiaries and maintaining services as well as supplies. The report announced no new financing or dated distribution programme; the stated outcome was continued coordination to improve refugee services.
