Yemeni Planning Minister Mohammed Al Faqmi met a UNHCR programme representative in Aden on October 25, government-run SABA reported. Talks covered voluntary returns for refugees from the Horn of Africa, adult education and food assistance for displaced people from the western coast and Taiz.

The agenda distinguishes returns involving refugees from outside Yemen from assistance for Yemenis displaced internally. Discussion of returns therefore does not mean displacement assistance is ending, nor does the meeting confirm newly completed returns. Both sides supported continued coordination without announcing a new beneficiary total or an implementation date for a specific expansion.
