China’s gross domestic product grew 4.5% year on year in the third quarter of 2026, QNA reported on 19 October, citing Yonhap and Chinese statistical data.
That exceeded the second quarter’s 4.3% reading. Growth across the first nine months reached 4.6%, with GDP of approximately 107.11 trillion yuan. The quarterly rate and year-to-date figure measure different periods and should be read separately when assessing the reported economic performance.
