The EU and UNDP launched an innovative-finance challenge on October 16 for cities in Armenia, Moldova, North Macedonia and Ukraine. Applications close on November 13.
Selected cities can receive up to US$20,000 plus technical support, with a minimum 10% local contribution in cash or in kind. Implementation is planned for January–November 2027, helping municipalities develop financing solutions suited to local needs.
