The International Energy Agency and the German government announced on 13 October 2026 that Paris would host the 18th Clean Energy Ministerial and the 12th Mission Innovation Ministerial in 2027.

The announcement was made during the current meetings hosted by Saudi Arabia. The ministerial process brings together governments, industry, business and international organisations to discuss the development and wider use of energy technologies.

The announced cooperation focuses on secure supplies, affordability and lower emissions. The statement does not provide a final day-by-day date for the next meetings, so this report identifies the timing as 2027. Detailed initiatives and commitments will depend on the programme and subsequent announcements.
