Environment minister Ayman Suleiman outlined Jordan's biodiversity financing priorities at a leaders' summit in Armenia as the King's representative, Petra reported on October 16.
His remarks covered the 2026 national biodiversity strategy update, the seventh national report and a BIOFIN-related financing plan. Green and blue bonds and private-sector participation were among the tools discussed.
The message focused on turning commitments into funded action. Discussion of these mechanisms does not mean every proposed instrument has already been issued or implemented.
