Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam told a cabinet session on 22 October that decisions on war and peace belong exclusively to the state, QNA reported.
He linked control of weapons to Lebanese law, the Taif agreement and Resolution 1701. Salam also called for action against unauthorised weapons storage and transport, describing them as a public-safety risk.
