Qatar Airways announced plans for direct Doha–Western Sydney services from 15 December 2027, QNA reported on 20 October. The planned launch schedule is three flights weekly.
Boeing 777-300ER aircraft are intended for the route, with frequencies eventually increasing to daily. Western Sydney would become the airline’s seventh Australian destination. This is a future service announcement, not a route already operating.
