WHO presented progress on its Women’s Integrated Cancer Services programme in Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya and Zimbabwe on October 15. The approach connects breast and cervical cancer screening with other primary-care services.

The update highlights integrated screening in Côte d’Ivoire, digital monitoring in Kenya and health-centre selection in Zimbabwe. Associated services include blood-pressure, diabetes and mental-health checks. The programme update does not imply that screening detects every case.
