Facebook introduces Your Algorithm controls for recommended content

Meta announced Your Algorithm, a Facebook tool for directing recommended topics, QNA reported on 14 October 2026.

Users can describe in their own words what they want to see more or less of, supplementing signals such as likes and viewing history. The feature covers the main feed and Reels, using language models to interpret preferences. Its stated purpose is to provide a more direct way to influence content recommendations.
