Hamad Medical Corporation introduced temporomandibular joint arthroscopy at Aisha Bint Hamad Al-Attiyah Hospital, QNA reported on 20 October. The procedure allows examination and treatment of selected jaw-joint problems through small surgical openings.
The institution described it as Qatar’s first such service, covering problems including adhesions and disc disorders. Suitability is assessed by the specialist team for each patient; the announcement is not an individual diagnosis.
