Griffin-1 lunar lander completes environmental tests at JPL
Testing simulated launch and space conditions ahead of further assembly and launch preparations.

Voyager Technologies' Griffin-1 lunar lander completed a series of tests at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, according to a NASA update dated 14 October 2026.
The programme simulated the temperatures and vacuum of space as well as launch vibration and acoustic conditions. It also included electromagnetic-interference and mass-properties checks to assess how the lander's systems would withstand the mission environment.
The spacecraft returned to the company's facility for further assembly before launch preparations and shipment to Cape Canaveral. NASA expects a launch later in 2026 through its Commercial Lunar Payload Services initiative. Completing these tests is a preparation milestone, not confirmation that launch or a lunar landing has occurred.
