Meta revised a clause in its commercial terms after concerns that it could permit website content linked to business accounts to be used for AI training, QNA reported on October 18.
The company said the consolidated wording concerned advertising and commercial products and did not change its web-crawling practices. Removing the clause does not resolve the wider debate over rights to AI training material.
