QNA reported on 20 October that Microsoft warned about enterprise AI agents’ behaviour and access to sensitive data. It described tools to monitor agents, limit permissions and seek human approval for higher-risk decisions.

The announced approach includes Guardian Agents and Defender updates. The report highlights independent organisational oversight, since an agent’s ability to complete a task does not by itself demonstrate compliance with security and business rules.
